Happy Birthday Elder Fischetti!!!!!! (20 on June 22)

Heyyy!!!

Thanks for the birthday wishes, can you believe I am 20?? So weird. Anyways, yeah the Davis' are an awesome family out here. They treat us really well. He told me he would call Brother Murphy and tell him hello. Such a small world!! She said my talk was good? Well, that's good to hear, I just kinda stand up there and say what's on my mind haha.

This week has been a growing one to say the least.  I have really come closer to my Savior this past week, learning to trust and that's it. Kind of like how a kid does...just trusts the parents so much. I have learned that because of his love, he allows us to hurt to allow us to grow more. Don't worry, I am fine, it just gets really challenging. I made a deal with the Lord to help me focus on the work. It has been working well, and I just keep my eye on why I am here and how each day that goes by is one less day I will be able to be doing this. I am not perfect and will never be, but that is no reason not to try. I strive to be the best I can each day, and each day I fail so hard haha but I learn so much at the same time. The easiest path is never the best path. Sometimes the most difficult trials help us grow and learn.

I had a super bad headache yesterday...like all day. It was the worst one I've ever gotten. Hopefully, it stops there and won't come back, Dr. said they will spike occasionally and that I just have to deal with it.  I am doing great, just really growing right now.

Anyway, I taught Isaiah how to ride a bike!!!! It was awesome! Brent Longenfeld was baptized yesterday!!! He is the Kenney's son...they lived in our ward many years ago. He is so awesome and I have really built a strong relationship with him.

A miracle happend this week in our zone...we got a call at 10:30 at night from a companionship, Elder Adair has turrets...and he called crying, so we rushed over there and his turrets was gone!!!! He got a blessing, and now he only has a little jaw movement from it, but no more flailing arms or yelling!!!! It was a truly sacred moment, and that house was just bursting with the Spirit that night when we went over there. It was cool to see how two 19 year old young men were able to call down the powers of heaven on those they work with. I will never forget that experience, his countenance is totally different as well, he just seems at peace with everything.

We have had a lot to deal with in the zone, and it has been a huge challenge trying to juggle everything at once.  I get to go on exchanges with Elder Miller tomorrow!!! I can't wait! I love that guy, we will be friends forever.

So we were riding bikes the other day on some back road, I wiped out hardcore haha, I don't know what happened, I just wound up on the ground! I didn't get beat up too badly, just some scratches. I ripped a pair of the pants for that one suit, so I may go there today and see how much replacements cost. I have the extra pair so I may not do it. It's crazy how worn out clothes get on a mission. Shiny suits, holes in the bottom of shoes and socks haha it's crazy. I guess that's what happens when you work hard form 6 am to 9pm. I love my mission so much!  It is hard and challenging, but so worth it at the same time. The lessons I am learning, and the person I am becoming would have never even been touched at or looked at in any other circumstance. Thank you for the support you and the family provide for us.

Oh hey, there is this huge scout thing going on and we will be working there!! (National Scout Jamboree)  People say Pres. Monson may be going!  Over 10,000 scouts!  I can't wait!  I asked John if he is going! That would be crazy.

I am working my hardest, and getting beat up quite a bit, but that is how we learn and grow. I have been brought to my knees many times this week, so humbly...like never before in my life. I truly can say i have a personal relationship with my Father in Heaven, and my Savior Jesus Christ. Without them, I would be nothing. I truly Know that this church is God's kingdom on the earth. I am learning to trust in my Father's plan for me, rather than my own plan. I am a different person. I have learned how important family is, and I have grown to love mine so much more, even though we don't even see each other. Tell everyone I said hi and that I love them all so much.

I will forever be grateful for Idaho, it has and is changing me for eternity. I needed Idaho. I love the people here, I love everything about it. I truly know that I was meant to serve here at this time in my life. There isn't a single other mission I would rather serve in. I am being so blessed in this work, I have grown a very strong spiritual personality. I know what is right, and what is wrong as a member of the church, and there is no confusing them. I will never let any one else's opinions on religion drown out my own inner belief and knowledge. The testimony I have isn't very profound, but it is very strong.

The mission is not a sacrifice at all, it seemed like it was at first, but it is the greatest blessing and opportunity a person can ever be given. I wouldn't trade this experience for the world.  The members out here really support us, besides a pair of Sunday School teachers for 9 yr olds...they were not very nice to us on Sunday because we tried to sit in on the lesson, but we are so close to all of the kids, they tend to get roudy when we are in there, so the teachers just straight up rejected us...yikes. Oh well...can't please everybody. Anyways, I gotta go, I love you so much!!  Thank you for all that you do for me!!  Give everyone my best wishes. I love you!

Have a great week, he who soweth will also reapeth. If you put in the work, rewards will come. I love you!

Love,
Elder Fischetti

Brent L.!!!!!  The Atonement works!  Love this guy!!!!
We had to drive down to Poci to deliver some stuff and pick up elders... we had lunch with a lot of other elders I know very well.  It was great to see Aiono, I haven't seen him for like 4 months!  I will always be grateful for his service, and what he has done for me in my mission, and my life.

THE ZONE!!! A few are missing however...
We've got Elders Lykens, Workman, Maddox, Santos, Todd, Solorzano, Rabe, Butler, Duffin, Woodside. Sisterssss.... Hays, Lemons, Creek and Chavez.  We went to Ijump last week for Pday. It's a trampoline place!  Lots of fun!
